Our HOWL-oween party HELD Sunday, October 22,2017 was a great sucsess. It included a Bichon costume parade, refreshments and camaraderie. Prizes were awarded for several categories. Many people attended this event, enjoy our pictures and plan to attend our next event.

The 2017 Bichon Specialty show was held on Saturday March 25th 2017. Judges sweeps was Mrs Nita Gryan. Conformation judge was Mrs Rita Holloway.There were prizes and a hospitality table. For further info contact Danelle Garino president at dgarino@optonline.net
Pet disaster trailer dedication. At Mennon arena for Morris County animal.
Thanks to the fundraising efforts and generosity of more than a dozen Morris County area, state and national kennel clubs, and AKC Reunite, the county today has received a new state-of-the-art AKC Pet Disaster Relief Trailer that helps to create a safe, temporary home base for at least 65 pets after a disaster occurs. The Bichon Club was proud to be a donating participant.

On Saturday 3/26/16, some of our Rescue Parents participated in our Bichon Club’s Specialty Show in Edison NJ in our PARADE OF RESCUES. The Pet Parents and rescues that were able to be there had a great time and loved meeting each other and the other members of our club. Our rescues each got to strut their stuff around the ring while their story was told and each got a very cute Parade of Rescues Ribbon in the Shape of the Bichon Head. Thank you to all the Pet parents that were able to make it to the Parade and thank you for adopting and loving our rescues!

Pam Goldman recieved the Breeder of National Specialty High in Trial and Best of Breed Winners from the Bichon Frise Club of America, Inc.

The Bichon Frise Rescue of Northern NJ is an organization that rescues Bichons, both purebred and mixes, who are given up due to hardship, death of the owner or in the worst cases, abandoned or found as strays. Our rescue is a NO KILL Rescue and we pride ourselves on finding loving homes or fosters for every dog we take in.
Karen Graeber showed her breeding CH WHitebreds Champagne on Ice at the Westminister dog show this February and won Select Bitch. As a Breeder, owner and handler, under strong competition we are thrilled for her and for Coco’s owner Marianne and Kevin Karl who are also members of our club.
Our club attended the akc “Meet the Breeds” Saturday and Sunday, September 28 & 29, 2013 at the NYC Jacob Javits Center. Thousands came through to have their picture taken with a Bichon and to learn about the breed.
Thank you to all who donated to our Bichon rescue fund and our disaster relief fund.
The 2 little girls in the pictures below were working on their merit badges .. Edy was their first non sporting dog. They were thrilled!
