On January 25 & 26, 2025 the American Kennel Club (AKC) hosted a Meet the Breed event at the Javits Center in New York City. This is a great event where the general public can come and meet over 150 different dog breeds in person. Not to mention the demos of dog agility, canine officers, the sport of disc, teaching your dog tricks, and more! There were also events for kids, food and vendors. Our Bichon club members and dogs manned the Bichon Frise Booth at the event. We were there to answer questions that visitors had, give out cards from the National Bichon Club with information about the club and breed and allow the general public to behold the beauty of the breed in person,
